Information about the 1st Thassos-Webcam: The Webcam is mounted on the roof of theAegean-Vilas in Potos. Every 5 seconds the picture becomes refrehed on our Server. Because the bandwith isn't completely stabele, delays are possible here. Inside the camera there is a thermometer and the temperature is displayed on the picture in Celsius and Fahreheit. Because the camera is on the roof directly in the sun, the temperature can be different from the measuring in the shadow. The webcam is mounted on a 360°-turn-around-motor. So you can see every angle around the house. Because the motor isn't syncronized with the cam, the image is absolutely random. You can set the refreshing rate to minimize problems with slower internet connections or computers. Additionally you can refresh manually. JavaScript is required for refreshing.
